The Story Behind the Story of Illness
Bob Duggan, MA, MAc (UK), DiplAc (NCCA)

Individuals have many symptoms and most have many stories about their many symptoms. Are all the symptoms voices from the one dis-ease and how do we craft stories big enough for life to be lived powerfully. We explore many stories from many individuals and glimpse the belief structures that support them.

Stomach and the Earth Element: Transforming Neediness to Generosity
Thea Elijah, MAc

Many of us are so ashamed of our needs that we cannot focus on them clearly. We may delay recognition of need until our sense of desperation grows so urgent that we make choices that feel "selfish," but necessary. Or, we may deny our needs, and opt for compensatory fulfillments like sex, shopping or food. We may become more giving to fulfill our needs vicariously, and then resent the recipients. Healers especially face burnout when we ask ourselves to give, but have no inner way to know our needs, and how to fulfill them appropriately. Chinese medicine offers healthy insight and support for identifying needs as the first step toward a capacity for abundant sharing and good health.

2012 and the Return of the Great Mother
Christine Page, MD

As we approach the December 21, 2012, the ancient people revealed that we would come under the influence of a powerful energy emanating from the Galactic Center, better known as the Heart of the Great Mother. It is through our resonance with her Heart that we will ride the waves of change and experience her unlimited abundance awaiting us. Dr. Christine Page explains how we can enhance our connection to this transformative power by: Listening to our intuition, the messenger of the heart; developing compassionate, healthy relationships with our body, other people, the planet and God; honoring our own creative potential; embodying the wisdom of our experiences; releasing those things that anchor us to the old paradigm, and making way for the new.

Wu Ming Qigong for Breast Health – Practitioner Training
Nan Lu, OMD
(Four-Hour Certificate Course)

Become certified to teach Wu Ming Qigong for breast health. Now, practitioners can provide patients with the healing tools they need to go beyond early detection and help prevent breast cancer. Before physical problems appear, they occur as energy stagnation in the Stomach, Kidney and Liver meridians that run through the breast area—where Qigong works. Master Lu discusses why and how breast cancer develops from the energetic point of view, and helps participants learn how to teach properly unique Wu Ming Qigong forms for breast health. (Participants receive a complimentary copy of "Wu Ming Qigong for Breast Health" DVD. Proceeds benefit TCM World Foundation’s Breast Cancer Prevention Project.)
