OVERVIEW
OCTOBER 20 - 23, 2011 • CHANTILLY, VIRGINIA
Learn and Grow with Our Master Teachers
You’ll have the opportunity to study in-depth with generous and talented teachers of the spirit, and embrace educational and energetic experiences that nourish the body, mind and spirit.
Most of our presenters are longtime members of our TCM family. They journey with us throughout the conference and encourage rewarding dialogues and stimulating exploration. They invite you to a path of self-discovery and knowledge. We all work together to create a powerful energy field that allows for a supportive environment of health-seekers with a passion for strengthening the bond between healer and health-seekers. Most of all, we offer insight into true complementary medicine—one that helps prompt new ways of understanding the connections between spirit, consciousness, emotions, imbalances and their impact on well-being.
Celebrate with Us! This is the 10th anniversary of Building Bridges for TCM! This year promises to be even more exciting as spirit and science converge in a series of dynamic dialogues with our guest keynote, biologist, scientist, and well-known author Rupert Sheldrake. From the Western perspective, he will share his unique insights on morphic fields and how they point to “being beyond boundaries” and shape our very existence. From the Eastern perspective, Nan Lu, OMD, will draw a compelling parallel between quantum science and ancient theory as well as a picture of the individual as more than a collection of body parts, but a vibrant energetic being operating in a multidimensional reality. From different paths, both experts will lead us to a deeper appreciation of the power of the invisible and its profound effect on the visible.
What’s Different about Building Bridges for TCM?
For the past decade, we have dedicated ourselves to building community by providing a special learning experience couched in a nurturing healing environment. From the moment you arrive until you leave, we offer numerous organic opportunities for interactions with presenters, our master teachers, and a broad range of healthcare practitioners. Friends are made; experiences are shared; emotions flow as we all dip into the amazing well of this 5,000-year-old healing system.
From morning Taiji to evening panels and networking luncheons in between, you’ll meet an extraordinary group of practitioners and share genuine insight and innovative methods to help clients and patients heal. Year after year, participants comment on the uncommon care and energy our volunteer staff takes with each participant. Our caring volunteer staff of longtime Qigong students travels with you as companions on this transformative journey. This attention allows us all open to new perspectives about changing our lives and those of our patients in a deeper way.
