Brother Seif is a Catholic Christian monk with private monastic vows and a clinical psychologist, board certified in behavioral medicine. He is also a Doctor of Natural Medicine specializing in Chinese medicine. Brother Bernard is a National Qigong Association Certified Level IV Qigong Teacher (Sifu), an NQA Certified Advanced Clinical Therapist, a lifetime professional NQA member, a member of the NQA certification committee, former ethics chair, has served on the NQA board of directors, and is a member of the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong (Beijing). He has authored numerous professional papers as well as a series of monastic mystery books.
